Was thinking about this after my last post. Those coils are cheap, just slap any generic coil on there, long as the dimensions are correct. Triumph replacements would likely be expensive. Does that have 2 six volt coils?? For some reason I'm thinking my Norton has 2 six volt coils, that could be a problem finding, maybe a tractor place. We used to buy replacement coils @ Kmart for ~$10, any had more output than stockers. If they are 12V, you are in luck, just go to PEPboys or wherever and get 2 coils.
As far as buying the machine, without seeing it, if it's all there and mostly stock, doesn't seem to bad a price. You could go to
www.jwoodandcompany.com to get a better idea of what this was selling for this past March. They are the guys with a big MC aution here in Fl @ Daytona @ the end of bike week each year. Good place to get a real value of bikes. Check their auction results for 2007 and you'll likely find one same as or close to what you are looking at.
