Broken Exhaust

Hi All, urgent help needed. At the start of my winter maintenance on my 1994 Speed Triple I took the end can off of my bike and have now found that the bracket is loose and will not tighten up. Has anyone got any ideas how I can fix this as I do not want an after-market exhaust system because I want to keep the bike as original as possible. I had a quote from Triumph who want £350 per end can which is out of my budget. I have thought about welding as a possible solution but if I go down this road I am worried about the finish on the exhaust because of keeping it as original as possible. Please see pictures. Any advice welcome.

Let's see if I can attach 'em....

Nope, they're about 3x the max allowed file size. Let's shrink 'em down....

Et voila! Max file size is 97k, so I made 'em a little smaller & now they work.

Cheers,
-Kit
