rear wheel removal sprint rs 03 dual sided swingarm

Hi newbie needs to know how to remove / replace rear wheel on my Sprint RS 03 dual sided swingarm model. Can only find references to wheel removal on single sided machines.

Any (genuine) advice would be most welcome

Thanks

It's pretty straight forward. a centerstand makes it a snap, otherwise you need to get the wheel off the ground.

1-loosen the chain adjuster nut/bolt and screw them toward the front of the bike.
l2-oosen the axle nut and push the wheel forward, and remove the chain.
3-remove the axle assembly, and the wheel drops. be careful to support the brake caliper.
4-remove the wheel. the sprocket carrier will most likely fall out, this will give you an opportunity to inspect the cush drive rubbers for dry rot.
5- keep a mental note, or take a picture of the spacers and bearings if you take apart the wheel.

takes about 5 minutes once you get it down.

good luck

Hi

many thanks for the run down - the caliper and spacers were what I was thinking about when I orininally posted! Things generally fall out and its not always obvious which way they go back.

Thanks again for your help I'll try and get the wheel out this weekend as Ive burnt up the Bridgestone 014 and need to get it re shod.
