After taking my 06 Speedie in for simple servicing (oil change, etc.) and having a new fuel tank installed, I noticed a significant increase in h-b abd seat vibration from the engine, particularly in 3400 4400 rpm range.

At first I thought I was crazy because none of the servicing done would have seemed to have any impact on engine vibration. But I'm convinced the vibration is not a figment of my imagination cause I'm tingling after a ride the way I used to many years ago after sitting too long on an old 250cc Yammie.

Any thoughts as to what the problem might be??? :???:

Based only on the history my first guess would be a from engine stuttering from a interupted fuel supply. A partially kinked fuel line, or a non-vertical tip-over valve could be causing a slight fuel starvation, leading to an engine miss and increased vibration.

Just a guess. Hope you get it sorted out soon!

I'm going to add my 3 cents worth in hear..... being a tank was changed u might want to check fuel filter's tank might have not been flushed and it don't take much to cause problems i like to use the clear in line filters then u can see whats coming out the tank ...the tank might have been made on a Monday (workers hung over from weekend) or made on a Friday (workers in a hurry to get the HE-- OUT of there) ........................ good luck :???:

The tech probably displaced a rubber mount of some sort while replacing the tank.
