It seems that us Tiger 1050 owners with the Triumph topbox and/or panniers do not have any security with the locking system. I would imagine that this will affect the many Sprint ST 1050 owenrs too as I understand the luggage to be the same.

It is childs play to open with a small key, knife, screwdriver. Some of us have tried it on our own gear and are seriously concerned!

Wow! that's poor. Seems like Triumph put the actual locks on just for show.

Luckily I have a Scorpio Alarm with perimeter sensor. The perimeter can be armed or disarmed in addition to the regular alarm and also is sensitivity adjustable. Thus, can alert/alarm before they even get to the bag! :-D
