Does anyone know wheer I can find a listing of all the codes and what the y mean (02-04 Speed Triple)? I have a tuneboy and the diagnostics tool pulled the code but I have no idea if it is severe or if I should just clear the code....nearest dealer is 60 miles so I'm hoping to get info from here.

The generic codes are the same for any manufacturer. The Triumph specific codes are in the Shop Manual. I don't have one for your bike.
Maybe if you repost and list the codes you are getting, someone will look them up for you.

The code is P0463 Fuel Level Input Sensor shorted high........I'm wondering how to fix the problem...clear the code or take it to the stealer? Basically all it is doing is making the low fuel light come on at random.

Shoot me a PM if you can't find it or if someone doesn't post a link as I printed it out earlier this week. Just can't remember from where it was or on which site.

Wouldn't you know I'd find it as soon as as I posted I couldn't find it? The code list is in the Knowledge Base on t595.net under Technical articles under the Maintenance section.

Anyway, as you said, it shows code P0463 as fuel sensor circuit high input. Sorry, don't know exactly what that means. Might speak to your dealer's service mgr. and ask if it's serious or just more of a nuisance issue. He may spill the beans and tell you how to fix it.

Thats one of the generic codes. On a Triumph it indicates a fault between two ECM pins and the correspoding contacts on the fuel level sensor. I don't have a schematic for your bike so I don't have the pin numbers. Don't know how hard it to get to them, but sometimes all it takes is unplugging and replugging the connectors (pwr off).

You can find a complete listing of the error codes in a post by me in this thread
I dont know why it says it doesn't in the table which is taken directly from the manual, but as you are experiencing it most certainly WILL illuminate the MIL.
It is very likely to be the fuel sender itself. Could also be a bad/intermittant connection of the plug.
Normal resistance reading for the sender is 13 to 91 ohms.
Go to your local Radio Shack & get a 47 ohm resistor & connect it across the harness side of the connector plug temporarily (leave tank sensor disconnected) and see if that eleminates your problem.
If it does, replace your tank sender.
