OK, 2nd newb post.
Anyway, my '78 is basically a stripped down race bike that generates (magneto, no battery) just enough power at idle to run the headlight and tail/brake light. The horn will not work unless I'm on throttle, and the blinkers/gauge lights are long gone.
Given that LEDs conume 98% less power than the normal 3W bulb, I'm thinking that I can take out the brake/tail light and run all the above mentioned lights on the current electrical setup, without a battery.
Has anyone taken on a project like this?
