My bike is sick after winter. I removed and cleaned my carbs and I cant seem to keep #3 pilot to idle . backing out the screw helps but at 7 turns its so out of wack with 1 and 2 carbs at 3 turns. I looked at my float but theres no dif btwn thm all so any bdy gt sgstions?

Gee, sorry I can't help, but I notice no one responds. Perhaps try your query on the forum that deals with your particular bike. It seems that requests for help get lots of responses - from those who have worked through the same problem.

I'd bet most are outside riding (or wanting to ride). I'd clean it all again. Bummer!

If you have got the carb apart check the float level as if it is too high the petrol level will be too low causing the carb to run lean. An air leak is another possibility is the carb to inlet rubber split at all, No. 3 is the take of for the vacuum petrol valve it is possible that this rubber pipe has split. Other than that a blockage is the only thing I can think of.
