Hi!!
Just bought a dead sprint 900, like a challenge! Haven't collected, yet, but seller thinks it is alarm related. Is this a common, thing? How easy is it to disentangle the dratted thing? Pretty honest round here, I'd rather have it running than secure!

The subject just came up on there; apparently, there's a loopback wire or something that needs to be in place if you remove the immobilizer. I don't really know anything about it myself, as no alarm is fitted to my bike.

The 900 triples are great bikes! Congrats on your purchase & welcome to the forum.

Hi, Got the beast, now. Seems the alarm is a Spyball (Sticker on the bike is, anyway). It's a plugged device, anybody know if it's just a quewstion of unplugging & junking, or is there a link to be made? Main loom runs to the plug, so suspect something has to be shorted, but no idea which.....
