...think Sat Night Live....

Anyone gone about getting copies of their keys for their '03+- model Triumphs?

I assume it is dealer only... but that likely means "not cheap"...

They wanted $42 for a key for my '05 speedy. There are other options tho as long as you have a key to copy. If not you may have to have the dealer make you one and bite the $42 bullet. Not sure a 3rd party keymaker can copy via the key code. In any case, there are alternatives. For the speedmaster i was given some options for keys that will work. Not sure what other triumphs or if all triumphs use the same key. But it's as follows for my bike anyways...

Ignition: Yamaha - ILCO YH47 (X119)
Steering lock: Volvo - SILCA NE10

Thanks Dazcon.. .

I do have the org key set so I can use them as masters... so a local keymaker may have the ability... that sounds good to me!

I paid the dealer $15 for a blank key. The local locksmith store cut if for $1. It works fine.
