need some advice here i've bent & Snapped the Gear Shaft





How Difficult is it to Fix i can Build Engines and Stuff and According to the Spares Dept at my Dealer u can Replace the Shaft wivout Stipping the Whole Engine Down . Need to coz i can't afford to Strip the Whole lot down and i ain't got a Workshop Manual

so ideas and Tips would be Appreciated

Sounds like you should:

1. Get a manual

2. or have your dealer fix it.

The shift mechanism cover is on the right side behind the sprocket cover, near the right footpeg.

i'd love to get a manual but i've spent all the money i have Ordering the Replacement Parts and livin in the middle of knowhere it's my only transport

Years ago I had broke my shifter on my dirtbike.
I clamped on a pair of Vicegrips and rode it that way for several months.
They fell off a few times, but it got me where I needed to go...


Maybe someone that has the manual can scan and e-mail the section on this to you.
