Hope someone may be able to help. The overheat light on my '95 Speed Triple keeps coming on when the bike is fully warm just before the fan cuts in. I've checked the T/stat, replaced the cylinder head temp sensor and checked cooling system for blockages (none found) but no joy. Have owned the bike from new and apart from a hose change under warranty for a weep it's had no problems till now. I've seen another post with the same problem from a member in the US, is there a fix out there??

I have a 95 black triple as well and did have some problems that I posted so maybe you mean me. I chased the problem for a while but simply replaced the themostat and drained and filled. I can't remember for sure, but I think I even replaced the Fan switch and that that was the problem as I had had that one before. Sorry to be so vague and all. It shocked the heck out of me to even see anyone with this bike. The triumph dealer here told me that my bike didn't even exist until I offered to ride it up his backside. Let me know what you finally figure out. Good luck

Hmmm... I've heard of a few people having this problem- but haven't heard a resolution.

Speaking of cooling systems though- my fan seems to be coming on more than it used to. Makes me wonder...

Anyone fit a temp. gauge on a T3 before?

Some T3s had gauges instead of lights. My Trident has a gauge. I have a spare set of working gauges with broken plastic; we could probably work something out if you want to build a frankencluster.

Cheers,
