Does anyone know if Loctite 767 is ok on valve stems before reasembly?

The Triumph manual mentions MOLYBDENUM DISULPHIDE GREASE.

Grease with fine MoS2 powder in it. I usually use synthetic gear oil and a little STP mixed in or an assembly lube.

I believe that is grease that has the dark, graphite color to it. Some what of a multipurpose, high pressure grease reccomended for chassis and front ends and other slow moving componets. Not the best for high speed wheel bearings from what i've read.

I use it alot when rebuilding valves on the submarine, it looks like graphite powder and antisieze mixed together. It usually comes in small cans with a brush built into the cap too.

Did anybody here ever use "JB Weld" ???

I have a leaking plastic tank on a 96 Tiger. The leak is where the fastner screw is on the right front lower side and this is where the fairing bolts on to ,or fastens on to the tank. :hammer:
