I'd like to lower the pixie hat on my S4 about an inch. As a second stage to my mod, I'd also like to lower the whole headlight/pixie hat assembly by another inch or so. Has anyone done this? Ideas?
Thanks...

Easiest way? Recipricating saw and welder. Cut a section out of the bracket to lower, then reweld it back together. The bracket is a solid piece.

Thanks Kubihibi... I decided to buy an extra headlight/instrument bracket so I have one to play with. Yeah, I can see how you'd have to cut and weld. It also looks like it could be bolted back together with carefully placed bolt holes. Know any good aluminum welders in the San Francisco/Oakland area?

Most bike shops should have a welder on hand... try a normal machine shop. You know, the kind that do head work and build engines.
