Hi Guys,

I've been looking for the "Serial Number" on my 2003 Sprint ST - I have found the VIN, but is this the same as the "Serial Number"?
I've been checking out some parts, and have been given the following info to choose from:

SERIAL NUMBER 139276 AND BELOW
SERIAL NUMBER 139277 TO 208166
SERIAL NUMBER 208167 AND HIGHER

. . . . trouble is the VIN I've found on the bike ends in a seven digit number - 21XXXXX - not six as listed above.

Am I looking at the correct number here or are VIN and Serial Numbers different? How do I identify from the above options, the correct model of my bike?

Thanks.

Steve

Hey thanks for the reply, that certainly seems to be logical - anyone care to confirm this please?

Thanks.

I got the same idea looking an the VIN for my 95' Sprint. The last 6 numbers of the VIN conicided with the information I had. That told me mine was an early 95' model.
