I posted this in the Trophy section but thought I would post it here as well.
I have a 1998 Trophy1200 with 70,000 miles. It has always been maintained and has never let me down... until the other day. I had the shop replace the head bearings due to an incident with a board in the road. After I got the bike back I rode it twice. I tried to start it after it set up over night in my garage and could not get any fire. It will just turn over with no firing and the smell of gas becomes very strong, so I don't think it is a fuel problem. There was a wire near the steering head that was broken so I fixed it and still nothing, so I checked everything I knew to check and couldn't find anything else. Took it back to the dealer and they have had it for a week and told me yesterday that they have not been able to run down the problem.
Any ideas what it could be.
FWIW, The shop is a Triumph dealership with trained mechanics.
