Anyone know of a inexpensive click type that goes from 0 to maybe 25 Lbs? I've found a few, but they're up around $100 and more.

I bought one at Kragen, if I remember around $60. It was a bigger one too. 3/8 and I know it goes above 60 ft/lbs

I already have one that goes high. I want one that only goes to maybe 25 Lbs tho for the low torque (7-15 Lbs and such) accuracy.

Check eBay & Harbor Freight. If you're not willing to pay top dollar for Snap-On or other stuff in the $200 range, consensus seems to be that the cheap Chinese torque wrenches are pretty much the same as Craftsman or Husky. My big torque wrench is a $20 Harbor Freight special, & I haven't stripped a thread or had a bolt work loose yet. (Well, I have had bolts work loose, but none that I've used the torque wrench on. Pesky previous owners...)

Something else I've read a lot is that it's worth the money to get the Snap-On. I've also seen replies to that more than once saying that that's true if you're a professional mechanic, but that the cheap ones will do the job for a good, long time if you only wrench on your own bike. I would love to see Motorcycle Consumer News review torque wrenches, but the fact is my budget forces the cheap Chinese stuff & it's worked for me for the past 2 years or so.

Thanks. I was indeed thinking about going to HF, today in fact. I love thier tools ! popular opinion may say different, but i've bought a lot of cheap tools from them and had real good luck. I don't recall ever seeing a small torque wrench like i described tho. but i will check.

I tried the "Harbor Fright" one. I wasn't too impressed and gave it back to them. I haven't found a modestly priced one yet.

Thanks, but that one's range starts at 20 Lbs. i need one that goes from 0 to 60 at the most, much more preferably to 30 or 40. I already have a big one and i want one that has a very small range and is physically small for the bolts that are in the single digit range to maybe 30-40 Lbs at most and in tight areas.

You are probably going to have to find a torque wrench that is going to read in "inch pound" scale. Although i do own a Snap-On 3/8 that does start out at 5 lbs and goes to 75, i'd rather trust my inch pound wrench for the very small and low end torque items such as case bolts and such. Bigern
