Tell us more info. How many miles? Any services done lately?Any mods done recently? Did it start all at once or little at a time. Change of fuel? Almost sounds like a air leak

The idle on the Sprint is controlled by the IAC (idle air control??) valve. A lot of FI engines use an IAC and over time they can get gummed up, or have a vacuum hose fall off.

Your issue sounds like an IAC issue. Unfortunately the IAC is under the tank, and hard to get a look at. I would start by looking for a loose hose. If the problem started as suddenly as you mention, a vacuum hose might have come loose off the IAC.
