I have a question on whether or not the headlamp switch on the right hand side of the handlebars can be converted on the ( for the USA model ) '05 Speedmaster. Currently they are in an always on position. I would prefer to shut the lights off when starting after a long duration of idleness.
Before I start to take it apart I wondered if there are wires run up to this inactive rocker switch.
A second piece of info I would like is--- what is the name/ website of the company offering 20% off Triumph parts?

I'd guess there are no wires present. I used this place to install the switch for my heated grips. It obviously was designed for a switch, but there were no wires present. I had to pull in the wires I needed. I ride a 98 Sprint, but I really doubt they added wires that weren't being used in the US wiring harness.

The easy way is to find a switch unit from a UK spec bike. Up until recently they all have a working 3 position lighting switch.
