I want to replace the stock cam covers with the chrome cover. I am not familiar with doing this and was wondering is this something that I can do myself? Or is there a vacuum, pressure, etc...built up in there. So my question is this. Is it as simple as it looks (I just switch the two out and go riding) or do I need to have a dealer do this for me? Would appreciate any help.

A cam cover is just a cover, there is no vacuum or pressure in there to worry about. All you need do is make sure the gasket is good to prevent oil leaks.
