I'm looking into nav systems and I would like to get some ideas as to makes and models. If you got some experience with them, I would like some input.
THA.

Lowrance iWay500c. Big 5" touch screen works good for riders. Included RAM mount for bike. 20GB drive-10 for maps and 10 for MP3s.

Garmin Streetpilot 2610 with RAM mount, and wired into my intercom. 1GB flash card upgrade. excellent, and I can connect it to the PC for downloading routes I have done before in the warmth of the house!

Don't get a unti with a mini hard drive... the vibrations can wreak havoc with the systems. Garmin specifically does not recommend their 2620 for a MC.

I also have a garmin 2610. I've run 16k miles with it and have found it to be an invaluable tool and toy.

Guage what you buy, by the traveling you'll do. I chose the 2610 for the memory capacity, allowing me to load all the US in it for road trips... the lesser garmin Quest has fixed non-expandable memory, but if you are staying close to home it would be a good unit.

Good luck... read a bunch and then come back here and ask some specific questions
