Just wondering, I found a good set of 98 Daytona 1200 stock cans at a great price. Will they fit a 98 Sprint Executive/Sport?
Will there be any rejetting needed?

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi,

I saw your discussion on the Vintage Sprint forum also.
I don't think there is any difference between the fitting point for a 900 or 1200, but there is a difference between the silencers fitted on the "Sport" models and those on the "Touring" models (i.e. Swept-Up silencers viz Straight-back silencers). The silencers have different angles and require different Hangers - the following shows the two types of hangers:

Apologies for the slightly distorted picture, but I think it is good enough to help you understand?

The Sprint Executive has a "grand" footpeg/hanger control plate, but I suspect the angles are the same as the old touring hanger to allow for the rear paniers?

Ciao,
Geoff
