Has anyone had luck polishing scratches out of a plastic Triumph windscreen? I am not expecting to eliminate the scratches but will be satisfied if I can make them less noticeable.

What product did you use and what were the results?????

I've used Plexus on a patch of fairly shallow scratches, with no luck. Some peeps recommend tooth paste. Not sure I'm game.

There is a product called micro mesh. Originally developed for polishing plexiglass windscreens on aircraft. I am sure you can find it with a google search. I've used it on plexiglass aquariums with good results.

here's a link to kits for removing scratches.

When stuck I have used T-Cut in the past on other plastics and to clean CD's however you should always have a practice on a "s c r a p" piece first. The grit removes a fine layer of material.

(see the forum auto inserts asterisks for **** :-D

Sonax makes a polish for plexi/acrylics/visors etc. Great stuff, comes in a small green tube.
