I just moved back to the UK after 11 years in the states, bringing with me a 2005 Tiger that i bought new over there.

I've been through the DoT website and looked at information on the MSVA process, which seems a bit convoluted (send a form and a cheque off to request an appointment time?!?!), so I'm wondering if anyone has been through this before and can offer any tips on what would need to be done in the way of mods (headlights?) and whether Triumph can supply any paperwork to smooth the process.

A quick check of the parts fiche at Bike Bandit shows that there are indeed different headlights for different markets; new is $92/lamp. Completely unsure about the rest, except that you'll need a properly-stamped silencer to pass your MoT.
