I'm looking at doing an interim oil change between services, and I'm wondering what oil everyone has used? Thoughts / impressions / (dare I say it) opinions?

I know the manual says Mobil 1 Racing 4T, but was interested to see if anyone is using anything else?

I used Rotella T in all my vehicles, synth in our two Triumphs and our Frontier, dino in our other bikes and the IH Scout. There is tons of good information on bitog.

I've just used what the book called for: Mobil1 15W/50 Racing 4T fully synthetic. Has worked great on my St3 for the last 20,000 miles.

I used the Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W-50 on my last change. Can't tell any difference between it and the 15W-50 the dealer carries, with the exception I was able to get it at the local auto parts store for $11/qt.

I prefer olive, though I'll use canola in a pinch.

I prefer baby oil but it's getting harder and harder to find fresh babies to crush into oil now that stem cell research is getting so hot.
