Idles but won't accelerate

Anyone recognize this problem? Bike ran great last ride in June. Has been sitting with trickle charge. Starts; Idles but wont accelerate. It dies when I throttle on. Would love some help!

CAFE' OLE', Both m/cs listed are carb'd, may need fresh gas and a carb cleaning.

Thanks Brad. I was guessing that. Can I clean these carbs by adding a cleaner to some fresh gas or do I need to dissassemble?

CAFE' OLE', Fresh gas and carb cleaner might work, worth a try.

Oops

Fresh gas in the tank for sure, drain the carbs if you can, add twice the normal dose of any good gas treatment, I use Seafoam, and run that through the carbs on a good long ride, you should notice some improvement almost immediately. If not, you're going to have to remove the carbs and clean them with a good carb cleaner being sure to blow out all the passages in the carbs and cleaning out the jets with a set of jet cleaning wires....
You probably have a bit of varnish built up in jets and the carbs, and most likely the jets since they would regulate the increased flow of gas to get your speed up....
Did you put any gas treatment in the tank and carbs when you put it away? Did you ever start it and warm it up periodically when stored?

Thanks Koiman.
Sound advice. I will try this.
Unfortunately, I didnt prep for storage. Its 110 here in the desert in summer. I left and expected to be back but was gone 10 weeks. I didnt even close the petcock. UGH. Learned my lesson. I will try this fix today. Thanks.
