K & N Air filter in Australia
Hey All just thought I'd share my experience,
I done a few mods (see my other posts) and went looking for a K&N filter for my bike. I'd seen them on ebay (US) for around $55usd and thought they'd be similar here. I went to the local Autobarn they didn't have any but could get me one for $147Aud needless to say I declined them ordering me one, I went to the local bike shop and asked the same, he quoted $125 still incredibly expensive compared to ebay but he said he'd have it in 2 days. I figured that's fine, I work away and it would be here when I'm home next. (I like to support local business where possible). Anyhoo I turn up at the shop on monday 1 week later only to be told that it's only left Sydney and is still in Brisbane, and will be another 2 days. I'm back to work now so will have to wait another week to see if it's arrived.
In hindsight I should have got it from ebay, it'd be in the bike now for my 220km ride to work.
Anyway I know people may or may not be interested/care, but as I said just thought I'd share my experience.
