Pitch removal - Time for a drink!
I have Douglas firs over my driveway, and in the summer heat they weep lots of sticky pitch. I finally discovered a good way to clean it off, even when dried up! Ethanol appears to be the best solvent so far, so I just use a bit of denatured alcohol, whiskey being too expensive. Cleans right up, but be sure to test it on a hidden spot before you try it on some paint or plastic.
