Help with 1970 Trophy 250 "barn find"
Hello all.
After a slew of Japanese bikes in my past I'm a proud new owner of my first Triumph, and I couldn't be happier!
My fiancee recently bought me a 1970 Triumph Trophy 250 "barn find". The seller told her that it has some electrical problems but otherwise was running just fine this last summer although I'm hesitant to crank it without making sure everything is up and working.
I've done some light work on motorcycles before, but I no longer have the tools and I'm getting married in less then a month so I definitely don't have the time to get it up and running right now.
I would love to have it going for the wedding... a week at the beach.
I'm hoping that someone could recommend a good mechanic in Raleigh, North Carolina who can has experience with more vintage Triumphs and can help me out!
