Pete certainly knew the answers to a lot of questions.

My six-and-a-half plate cork clutch grips in his memory.

Yes we have lost a guy who knew a lot about Triumphs and was willing to help. He spoke to me on the phone about a problem with a TR6C, and I was a bit chuffed that he would take the time to call.
R.I.P. Pete.

What a sad day it was to hear of the death of Mr. Pete, a real gentleman. He was truly an inspiration to me as I learned the mechanical aspects of British bikes. He assisted me immensely throughout my project. As he answered my numerous questions, he willingly shared his wealth of knowledge in a precise and to the point manner in which was easily understood. Mr. Pete will be greatly missed.

Sad news indeed. A true gentleman - and scholar when it comes to old Trumpies.

A good man indeed, who left a wonderful statement for all who knew him of what we all should be like.......

Good remembrances, Mr. Pete - all good. Can't say that about too many.

A lot of us here are about his age, and may check out anytime. We need to live like we are ready every day.
