I don’t have any problems with someone trying to make money, Shawn. However, when you begin inserting ads in between the posts of a thread it becomes a hassle – of course that was why you did it, so we’d all pony up $40. I imagine if we don’t ante up the dough the number of ads will just increase until we do.
Until now, I considered myself just a member of this forum - but if I pay $40 that will make me a customer instead.
So as a potential customer I think I’ll just browse awhile, look around, see how good the service is, and check out some of the other competing sites.

Walt, are you seeing ads between the posts while logged in? If you are, then please let me know as these should only appear when you are not logged into the site.

Oldndumb, I always respected your opinion and still love you
Woody1911a1, the issue you are experiencing is probably related to the recent changes here. Just re-check your settings and let us know what you find.
walt, check around in the other forums here on Rat.Net for information about recent events. After you've caught up, feel free to come back here with any additional questions you may have.

I'm sorry to see this place follow the path of other boards that have become "monetized".

Wow, i've only been registered on this site for a few weeks and I LOVED the look before, now it just looks pretty lame. Way to black and white and sorta low quality. I thought the ads in the left bar were supposed to be site supporters or things related to this site? Since when is a Lincoln Navigator related to Triumph's? I've got a Dodge Ram to haul my Triumph, I don't need a Lincoln, but thanks anyway.

Well the only movement its done under my ownership has been in the back of my Dodge Ram seeing when I bought it it had been sitting in a barn for almost 7 years and never turned over. The battery was dry as a bone. Needless to say I didnt even want to think about firing it up without a thorough going through. When it's all said and done i'll be riding it also.
