I noticed you have removed the gold "boneville" transfer from your sidecovers. I want to do the same and was going to use acetone but decided against it in case i damage the plastic, second option is high pressure cleaner. What did you use and was it ok?

I peeled off the decal and sanded the whole side panel the painted them flat black. You can't peel the decals off they are under the clear coat

My new to me 05. Pipes are Mototwins and sound great. Bike was customized to replicate an old Bonneville. Even the the lights were changed.

Looks a lot like my 59 T100 so had to buy the 05 when I saw it on ebay.
