I removed the wheels, cleaned them a little, taped off the bearings, stuck index cards between the rim and the tire and sprayed the wheels. The product I used comes in a spray can and works like spray paint. Just do several light coats letting dry maybe 15 minutes between. They sell a clear coat spray that is designed to give the finish some gloss but I wanted a matte finish. I am happy with them so far ! I think I spent $ 20 total

Wrapped the headers, put on some Lossa stubby cans, black Harley drag bars and a BC FIK... That should do it for a week or so

Christmas present for the Bonneville: a new seat. This seat is made by Baldwin Motorcycle Saddles out of Kansas. Built up on the original seat pan with memory foam, gel pad, and leather. I could not be more pleased with the workmanship.

I had never heard of that process. Like to hear more, as well as additional pictures, since I have always wondered what black wheels would look like on the SE.
