There is no bike that I want to own more than a Norton Commando Roadster. I look everynight for one up here that I could get into to.
Cali,

I too have a love affair with the Commando. I had one when I was in highschool (see below) and regret the day I sold it to buy my first Harley. I always wanted to recreate that bike, and having a stable of NBT's to play with, I created this:

...as an homage to this:

My Scrambler the day I picked it up:

Im not a big fan of tangerine, So I painted the bottom black but wasnt happy with it. Today I painted the tank House of Kolor Orion silver, Which is pretty close to the original. I also got rid of the solo seat. I could not get comfortable on it.

I still need to attach the kneepads but I want to let the paint cure a little longer.

LED Headlight

All the Lights are now LED. I like the stock indicators but wanted LED so I found these Narva units from truck markers which fit perectly. The tow bar has been an interesting experiment. Means I can take more stuff without hanging it off the bike. It far less damaging than a sidecar.

No pics of when I bought it... but... megaphone exhaust, custom cowling over headlight

Then to this, ditched the rear fender, biltwell ribbed tips, header wrap, side mount plate:

This is the current set up, gel seat, flipped my bars, hung some ammo cans, put the fenders back on:
