Here are some on my '68. I was going to put them on my '04 but came to the realization that the ability to carry some tools would best come in handy on the older model That and they just looked more at home on the TR6. Purchased from a gentleman who makes them out in PA and sells them through Ebay. They measure 11x11x4 and are well made out of thick leather and should hold up a long time, brackets were made out of steel I had lying around. He makes them in throw over and non throw over styles with or without handles, these are non throw overs.

Nelson Riggs 'Silver Streak' soft luggage. Might be discontinued now; I've had them for about 5 yrs and used them on 4 or 5 bikes so far. Holding up well with just some sun-fade on the tops. No supports underneath as they hang nicely just laying against the shocks. They came with raincovers but I've never used them instead preferring cheapo garbage bags as 'inner bags'.
This isn't a touring set-up; this is just my going-to-work kit as I work as a OTR truckdriver and I'm gone for about a week at a time, sometimes more, sometimes less, and I hate to do laundry on the road.
Anyhow, my commute is about 210 miles round-trip and I also have a Sprint GT but now prefer the Bonnie most weeks.

Re: Saddlebags with Pics
You can use the PMR rails of losi3030 on eBay. I used them on a similar size/shape bag:

The rest of the stuff on the floor fit into a waterproof duffle with room to spare.
Can anyone tell I'm reading Jupiters Travels?

Very nice! Those look really good on the Scrambler. Good book too, I've read that one, now on "Dreaming of Jupiter."

A pic of my riding buddy's rebuild project Royal Enfield. He bought it last fall and has been working on it all winter. Turned out great don't you think?

Recycled Dell 12" Laptop cases, $15 each.
I use three, one for each side and one that has been gutted as a top bag (not shown).
