I just bought a 2004 Thunderbird Sport and need a windshield, anybody got sugestions? I tried a Slipstreamer S-06 Spitfire Windshield but it wouldn't work. Did Truimph change the handlebars after 2000? All the windshields that slipstreamer offers are for 1998-2000 models. Help it is windy here in Colorado!

Timothy:

I have a National Cycle F15 on mine, and it works pretty well. Plus, I live in Wyoming where it's even windier than Colorado!

The Triumph shields look nice but like most Triumph parts, they are very pricey. You should be able to get an F15 through your local dealer, or just mail order it. I've had very good experience with Motorcycle accessory warehouse (http://www.accwhse.com/). Plus, MAW has a distributor in Colorado Springs, which means that if you order from Colorado, and they have your item in stock, you'll typically get it in about 2 days.

To see pictures of my bike with the F15 check out my photo album here

Tim-
I put a Memphis Shades Shooter on my TBS. It mounts to the bars, and does a pretty good job. When I added Genmar risers I had to rake it back a little bit, but it still keeps the blast off of you chest. If I remember correctly it was only about $90.00.

I have a NC F-15 shield on my Adventurer. It is mounted to the headlight mounts, rather than the handlebar.

It looks sleek, and reduces the air blast.

No they didnt, but they did discontinue it for 2001, later re-introducing it for 2003 and 2004. So suppliers application guides often dont list it for the last 2 years.
