I just read on another forum that Tiger owners name their bikes more so than any other Triumph riders. How many of you "Classic" riders name your bike(s)? My Adventurer is named Trudy. I didn't name her (yeah, it's a her...), someone else did and the name has stuck.

Weird as it sounds, if something has a name, it tells me. I don't normally name my possesions but I did own another bike that had a name...and my Goldtop Les Paul is named Sara.

Any other whackos like me out there?

The only bike I have ever had that came close to having a name was the Valkyrie and then it was just a generic nicknames for Valkyries in general.

The Fat Lady.

This because Valkyries in mythology were women and when my girlfriend first saw the Valk she described it as "grotesquely huge".

Mines called "The Redback" my mrs calls it her rival. Its still an it though, machines have no gender, even though it does have a lot of Character.

Wow - what timing! I've never named any of the other 6 bikes I've owned (3 Hondas, 2 Yamahas and a Kawasaki), but I've never owned another bike this nice, either!

So, my crimson and silver beauty is named "Queen Bess" :-D

Either named after red-haired Queen Elizabeth I (1558-1603) or the hilarious character played by Miranda Richardson in the "Blackadder" series.

Haven't named my TBS yet, but I named my 468cu 69 Firebird The BEAST and it is. My built 85 VMAX I just call SCARY.
