So the bike is coming from Michigan on Tuesday to the great frozen tundra of Northern MN. And the first thing I need to do is UN-winterize it so I am going shopping this weekend but without the manual (which is coming with the bike) I am at a bit of a loss. The bike has about 8500 miles and I am thinking of going to a full synthetic but I am not sure what weight to use if anyone has any feedback or advice that would be great. Also if there is anything else I should be aware of (i.e. coolant system, chain maintenance, any other fluids, plugs etc.) All I know is that I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve and I don't want to wait until the bike and manual get here and then go shopping so if anyone can help that would be great. Thank you all and happy riding!

definetly change oil /filter 15w/50 synthetic or 10w/40 semi synthetic i prefer total synthetic 15w/50 either mibil1 (pricey triumph) or the oil i use spectro total synthetic 15w/50 or 10w/40 sparkplugs might still be good antifreeze might also be good just look to see if it has a brown tint to it, it should be green or blue. if brake fluid looks black through the sight glass bleed it out and check chain for stifness in the links i would drain all the gas out of the tank and refill
