Modifying King/Queen seat

Just been thinking about lowering the K/Q seat on my T'Bird to get my feet a bit closer to the ground. Maybe pull the cover off and cut some of the padding out and replace it with a thinner layer of latex. Anyone done something like this? What do you think - put lifts inside my shoes instead?

Change the TB linkage to Legend linkage (also called dog-bones). Search around the forum, it's been done before. You may also need a Legend side-stand too.

Other than that the olde medieval rack system seemed to work.

If you take material out of the K&Q seat you will make it quite uncomfortable. Take the thing to John Mooorehouse over at Capalaba, and get him to do the lowering. Its about 200 bucks just for the riders part of the seat. He just recently did my seat , a complete job for 400. See thread below titled " Me new seat"

John Moorehouse of Capalaba, hey. Just happens to be about five kilometres from where I live. I saw the photo of your seat, Woodsie - looks great. I might go have a talk to him. Don't have his ph number or address do you?
Thanks.
