Hi all. I want a service manual for my 02 TBird, and there seems to be a choice between Haynes or Triumph's own service manual. There is a considerable difference in price, and while I would expect the Triumph manual to be the more comprehensive, this might be a false assumption.

I'd appreciate any views on which would be the better buy. Many thanks.

Tony

Ah, just seen the post from and replies to Boogalooser on the 23rd March. Seems Haynes gets good marks.

I am not overly impressed with the factory manual, I don't think it's worth the extra money.

Of course, the best option would be to have both.

Buy the Haynes then keep an eye out for a Triumph manual on ebay etc.
You can usually find one for $20.00 to $30.00 usd.

I have both, for cross reference, and end up using the Haynes most of the time.

I have both and I am sorry to say that they supplement eachother....one may be weak on certain items and the other covers the gaps, and the opposite.

Thanks guys. I guess I'll buy the Haynes and keep an eye open for a used Triumph manual.
