Does anyone know if there is a fork brace available for the classics? I know Norman Hyde makes one for the new Bonnie...

I emailed Bellacorse to see if their Bonnie one would fit. No answer so far.

One for a ZRX1200R would likely fit quite nicely (there are people selling them at ZRXOA.org) as the fork spacing is the same and the Triumph fork protectors fit the ZRX legs like they were made for them.
that center piece can be flipped over (so you can lose the 1200 stamp) and they are available in black or brushed aluminum (which would probably look best on a TBird) IIRC
It seems very unlikely that the Bonnie ones would be of the required dimensions.

So if this were used it looks like the Triumph fork protectors could not be used also.
Is that correct?

Correct
There is also a different one avaialble on the ZRX board that has built in fork protectors too - but not as cool looking IMHO

I measured up my ZRX and Thunderbird forks for comparison:
The ZRX fork legs are 65mm in diameter at the brace mounting point. The Thunderbird is 64mm. Thereofre there would be a need for a 0.5mm thick shim material around each fork leg (suggest rubber or similar). Most importantly it means that this brace could easily be made to fit.
The distance between the centers of the fork legs is identical.

On second thoughts Denny, I think that on a TBird you may have room to fit the guards too. You have to remove them on the ZRX as this bolts clamps to the area where the guards mount. However, with the Thunderird you woudl only be limited by how far you could slide them down without hitting the mudguard. I have a suspicion that there may be enough room for both.
I also have a feeling that these may work on other T3 models too.

Here's the page for contact info for the guy that makes/sells these (no affliation BTW). The page has some other goodies of interest too including an oil filter cover with drain plug that looks like it might work on a Thunderbird.
CLick Here for the page on ZRXOA.org

I would think that it should if you used your stock triple clamps.
