I was looking at these for my Tbird...the web site I found them on says they'll work on a Tbird. Would I need to rejet?

I have a set of slash cuts ('99 Adventurer) for sale. Only used for a few weeks. They sound good, but I live in a subdivision and leave for work at 5:00a and they are a bit to noisy for that time of day.

E-Mail off line if interested.

So the slash cuts are definitely louder than the Triumph offroads? Hermy's has slash cuts for a good price. I'm tempted to get some new pipes, but don't want anything that's extremely loud.

Can anyone recommend silencers which have more character than stock, but don't overdue the decibels? I'm guessing the slash cuts are like straight-through pipes that really don't dampen much, right?

I have the offroads on my bike and to be honest it isn't terribly loud. They have a great sound to them especially when beating on it . Our bikes will never sound anything like a vtwin HD so don't worry about bothering your neighbors unless they are very sensative or you hammer it near your house .
