Starter changed, now bike turns over but won't start!
Sorry to start a new thread but I couldn't change the other thread title.
Ebay Denso starter installed! Problems! Need advice!
I received and installed the Denso starter that I won on ebay. Man this thing is strong. I don't know if the original was worn out or maybe it's just that weak but it sounds like a different bike while starting. It was listed for a Daytona/Speed Triple/Sprint for anyone looking to buy one.
Pretty good for $42.
Thanks everyone for the advice.
Edit: So I finished draining and refilling the coolant, put the tank back on, hooked up and turned on the fuel, now it won't start. It just spins over(beautifully) the same way it did when it needed an igniter. That was replaced only four months ago. I've fully charged the battery, no good. I don't have an extra plug but tried arcing with a screwdriver and there doesn't seem to be a spark.
It has only been two weeks since it was run so I don't think the gas would have gone bad. It was running fine at that point. They did a load test on the battery at the parts store. What could it be this time? I'm really not too keen on paying to hear it's the igniter again. That'll be a deal breaker between me and the bike.
Thanks again in advance for any advice.

Kill switch? Pull the clutch in, kick stand up. Look closely at the clutch lever perch to see that the switch is fully seated.

Yeah, went through all the non exploratory steps.
It's always started without touching the clutch and with the kickstand down as long as it was in neutral anyway. I started it that way many times before I knew about these switches.
I'm really hoping it's something simple that I've overlooked but I know everything I disconnected and it's none of that. Would a dead starter make other items malfunction?

The gas in the carbs can go bad in two weeks easily and if your pilot jets weren't totally spotless, they can clog very nicely in that time.
No, changing the starter doesn't affect anything else.
Check your spark first with a spare plug.

Went and got some plugs. Grounded one on each wire against the head and there was no spark on any.
Also drained the carbs so they should be fresh.
Having replaced the igniter in February the lack of spark worries me more.

Check the inline fuse and the fuses in the fuse block.
If you go to my photo album, there's a schematic of the starting and ignition electrics that might be helpful.
You can copy it to your computer and print it out.

I checked the fuses in the fuseblock(if you mean the one under the seat).
Where is the inline fuse located?
I'm downloading the schematic next.
Thanks again.

If you had everything apart, there is a good probability that you didn't get everything reconnected correctly. Check and recheck all your connections again.... you may not have something plugged in! I everything else working properly?

Yeah, lights are strong and it turns over fine. Everything but the firing seems to be right.
The only things I disconnected were the battery, horn, and the two coolant hoses. I've got the fuel line hooked up with the petcock set on reserve. I even checked the solenoid from when I was trying to check the starter two weeks ago, no problems there. All fuses including the inline fuse show good. I don't know where to go from here.

No Start
Does anything register on the tach when cranking the enginer?
Have you checked the battery voltage while cranking the motor?
Can you jumper the kickstand switch to ground at the igniter or alarm plug? (think paper clip)
Is the alarm jumper plug in place?
