Do you know of any that are an easy changeover? I can never remember to close the ****ed thing, and if iI do I forget to open it. Comes from having a Kawasaki. Thanks

Slinky had that info I believe. Also take a look in the parts interchangeability thread in the workshop forum - IIRC somebody posted kawasaki part numbers in there of ones that woudl directly swap on - I think gregp's recommendation above may be one of them.

I had a small leak as well. I removed the petcock and took it apart, real simple. I cleaned the old part, put it back together and it stopped.
I was told you can buy petcock rebuild kits for a couple dollars. Basically a small plastic conic piece and a couple O-rings. But I have not gotten to that point yet.

As per Gregp's post, the tap from a ZR70 (Zephyr) is a straight swap- it's the one I used. You can see it on the powersports website- the ref number is 51023-1175.

You may want to use shorter bolts, as the OEM Triumph tap uses a spacer which is not needed on the Kawa tap.
