Brake Pads

Has anyone used aftermaket brake pads, if so whats the part number. I was looking on the dennis kirts web-site and was not sure which ones to get. fo my 01 Aventurer.

You can use EBC #FA196 front and rear.

These are also used on the Twins (front only)

Get the "HH" version of these if you want better grip. They will wear on your rotors a bit more quickly, but the stopping power is greatly improved...

I would avoid the HH pads as they will eat your rotors quickly not just wear a bit quicker.
Stick with the GG pads and practice braking drills.

With all respect, gonna hafta disagree with you here, zila. Braking drills will not substitute for crappy brakes.... which the Adventurer has. IMHO, I'd rather stop and live than save my rotors for the salvage yard. New rotors are no more expensive than a new set of skins!

At 40k, I am on the same rear rotor with no issues, and plenty of material left. I changed the fronts out when I swapped front ends, at 25k, and they are doing fine also.
