Question Thunderbird sport downpipes

Does anyone know if the thunderbird sports downpipes will fit a legend?

Downpipes???

Do you mean the header? coming from the cylinder head? Yes they should fit, the engine and frames are identical.

As said before yes they should. I fitted some old trophy pipes to my bird this past month. I did have to make some new silencer brackets though. I should wash the bike and get some pictures this weekend.

They all fit each other but as previously stated brackets and mounting points for silencers are frequently different so get yer hacksaw ready.

Thanks to all who replied, I thought they would but wanted confirmation before buying. I will make new brackets as I am fitting different silencers.
Cheers.

you will likely find that you have to modify the rear subframe mounts to clear the mufflers but otherwise it works.

No, they arent - the rear subframe on the legend looks similar but is dimensionally very different.

The power units are very similar but not identical (extra gear and differnt pattern on TBS - ok I'm being pedantic with this one! ).
