Rear axle nut size??

Hey, I'm sitting at work and I pulled my T-bird (1999) in to tighten the chain... just realized that we don't have metric wrenches! Does anyone know the size of the nut on the rear axle (not the bolt head, other side)?

My buddy is running out for lunch and might pick me up a wrench...

24mm by my caliper , but a 15/16" especially a 6 point is pretty close .

Woody: thanks, buddy... the 15/16" didn't quite fit, I think I'm just gonna get the metric.

I use a 15/16" and 1-1/16" on my Adventurer. They're 12-points and a good fit.
