Tire review: Kenda K673 "Kruz"
I just installed a 160/80-16 Kenda K673 "Kruz" on my Adventurer last Saturday. I am pleased to report that it fit well, was easy to install, looks awesome, and feels great on the road. It is noticeably quieter and smoother than the 150/80-16 Dunlop D205 that came off, although that is probably not a fair comparison as the Dulop was very worn, and any new tire would probably have felt great compared to it.
I rode the bike fairly hard, leaned it over pretty good, and it stuck just fine.
The tire was mid-priced, but priced significantly lower than the Avons that are so popular.
I have long been a fan of Kenda off road tires for their price, longevity, and quality, and was anxious to try a street tire of theirs. Unless this tire wears out fast, it is a winner.
I purchased it at americanmototire.com as their price was unbeatable ($82.93) and the tire arrived in 3 days.
I hope to try the K673 front soon, although they do not have the proper 110/80-18 size available. They offer a 110/90-18 and I am hoping that it will do without making my speedometer too pesimistic.
