Quick seat release

I hate the screw type seat releases on the thunderbirds and triumph twins; what a cheap setup. The seat releases for the "higher end" machines can be retrofit to the thunderbirds with only minor adapting of the frame.

It wouldn't be that hard to make up a bunch of the pins. You have probably noticed that Triumph does not sell the pins; they only come already mounted on the seats.

Have you noticed from the new photo essay of another seat latch project that it looks like I mounted the latch upside down and was why I had to cut out a section of frame edge to make it fit? Oh well, at least mine helped inspire others and it works just fine.
