I have a 95 T'bird which I've owned for a long time and enjoyed 30,000 miles of riding. As I have bought other Hinckleys the T'bird was seeing little use and so I took the decision 3 years ago to take her off the road,as I will never sell this bike.
The bike had a full service,I removed the battery, emptied the petrol tank and carbs and put the bike in a sealed bike.
Now the time has come I have decided to bring her back to life and enjoy some slower riding when I don't need to use the performance of my Daytona Centennial. So I will buy a new battery and some fuel and turn the engine over very carefully on the starter until the oil light goes out.But is this all I need to do to ensure no mechanical disasters? The bike ran perfectly last time I used it.Any recommendations ?

I can't think of anything other than a squirt of oil down the plug holes in case the rings are sticking to the bores! But I think I'd only do that if the engine hadn't been turned over for a much longer time than what you are talking about.

The only thing I might recommend is squirting a little oil in each cylinder before you fire it off if it hasn't been run in a while. This will provide upper edge lube for the rings and will give you a little better compression on start up. It helps temporaily seal the rings. Just a few CC's. It will burn off after a minute.

I was wondering if the fuel filter might need replacing but it is the whole fuel tap which seems a bit excessive if there is no problem. So I am inclined not to bother.

Personally I would consider some new tyres and tubes as the old ones will likely be hardening up.

I would also drain and flush the cooling system, and change the oil and plugs before attmepting to start her up.

Be careful of stuck carb floats etc. after you have put the petrol in. There are only screens, no filters as such they should be fine if the bike was fully drained.

Let us know how you get on.
